HOT

Scryde X5 Classic is a new format in the Scryde family of servers, built for those who miss real old-school gameplay. This isn't classic High Five. It's our vision of what High Five should look like today.

That said, we've kept everything people love about this era: the familiar character progression path, the value of items you've earned, subclasses and Noblesse, crafting and spoil, a living economy, the fight for gear, epic bosses, castles, and the Olympiad. A handful of mechanics got targeted improvements where they make the game more comfortable and more interesting — without touching the foundations.

What's not here

Spoiler for those who've played on Scryde servers before

What was removed on X5 compared to X

  • NPC Rin and the whole starting quest chain from him

  • Daily tasks — disabled entirely

  • Auto-events (TVT, CTF, Deathmatch), custom locations and mechanics such as the Trial Arena, Tantar, and the Gardens will be unavailable

  • Grimwood Garrison location — absent on the server

  • Talent System

  • Precious Gem System

  • Abyss instance

  • The Farm

  • Chaotic Frintezza — access closed

  • Mirror PvP/PvE locations (Reflection Zone)

  • Vitality drop boost — the regular vitality bar exists, but the bonus drop buff from it is no longer granted

  • Prestige System

  • 5 custom clan skills — Clan Sprint, Clan Miracle, Clan Gate, Clan Barrier, and Clan Noblesse have been removed from the skill list

  • Shoulders — custom shoulder pieces for B, A, S, and S80-Grade gear are no longer available

  • Extra drop in SoA, LoA, and Dragon Valley — all custom drop, including enchant scrolls, has been removed

  • Custom shops that made farming easier — shops selling recipe/item pieces for A-grade have been removed, and Dynasty shops no longer sell gear pieces, only recipes, same as before

  • Upgraded Clan Halls — custom clan halls won't be available on Scryde X5 Classic, and regular clan halls can only be bought through the Auction

The Buffer in Alt+B

The buffer lives in ALT+B → "Buffer." It only works in a peace zone and outside combat — you won't be able to buff up in the middle of PvP.

It's available from level 20 to 85, but the full list doesn't unlock all at once — skills appear at roughly the same levels as they do for the classes that normally cast them. Dance of Fury, for example, only unlocks at level 58 — same as for an actual Bladedancer.

There are no resists, no reflects, and almost none of the third-profession skills in the buffer. The one exception is Chant of Victory.

1734983127211.png Mana Refresh – a buff available from level 20 in the buffer that grants an hour of increased passive mana regeneration of 5 / 10 / 15 / 20.

  • Adds a 10% Clarity effect for physical skills.

  • On top of the flat regeneration bonus, it now also adds MP regen as a percentage of Max MP, which noticeably improves comfort in the server's later chapters — the percentage bonus kicks in at the buff's highest levels.

  • It also cuts incoming and outgoing Mana Recharge by 90%.

Mana Refresh's unusual efficiency creates a distinct experience for solo players, letting them follow classic RPG principles and manage their resources strategically. Players who prefer mana-feeding won't get a double advantage here, since they already skip this buff due to the mana-feed penalty — a balanced setup that keeps things fair across different playstyles.

Vitamin Pets

Vitamin pets are unique companions who accompany you throughout your character's growth, purchasable from ALT+B. Each pet has its own set of unique skills suited to different playstyles, so players can pick whichever pet best fits how they play and farm.

aga_forum.gif
Agathion companions on Scryde X5 Classic

Summoning pets is only available from level 40; summoner-pet buffs unlock at the same level as for Elemental Summoner / Warlock. You can't summon a vitamin pet and a vitamin agathion at the same time, but summoning a vitamin agathion alongside your regular summon is now possible (except for Phoenix Paladin).

Gear Score System

A new system for rating character equipment has been added. It scores all items starting from No Grade — but only regular items, the ones without a time limit.

640x360_GS (1).gif

Gear Score System

How Gear Score Works

Every item has a base GS value, plus extra bonuses for the following:

  • 1727022822999.png Enchant level: each enchant bumps the final GS by a set percentage. For example, B-Grade weapons add +7% per enchant, while MID S84-grade weapons add +14%.

  • 1727022843315.png

Number of ATT crystals slotted: a fixed bonus to total GS. For armor this ranges from +10 to +60, for weapons from +30 to +150, depending on how many ATT crystals are inserted.

  • 1727022857823.png PvP insert: +10 for weapons, +5 for armor. (Added as base GS before other bonuses.)

  • 1727022871407.png Rare (RAR) insert: +5 for both weapons and armor. (Added as base GS.)

  • 1727022884266.png Shoulders: +2 for the first Dino shoulder piece, +4 for the second, +8 for the third. (Added as base GS.)

  • 1727022898435.png SA on weapon: +10. (Added as base GS.)

  • 1727022909156.png Life Stone active/passive skills: from +5 to +200 depending on the Life Stone (Duel Might, for instance, gives far more GS than Kiss of Eva), with the biggest boost coming from a double Life Stone setup (e.g., Duel Might + STR+1). In C/B/A-Grade weapons, Life Stones give less GS than in S+ Grade.

Use the .gs command to show off your Gear Score in general or party chat.

Class Balance

Bards — Sword Singer / Bladedancer

  • 1736212170122.png Deadly Smash: A powerful attack on surrounding enemies, dealing an extra 2192 damage. Reduces P. Def. by 17% and M. Def. by 17%. Overhit possible. Duration 9 sec. Works in the Olympiad.

  • 1736212199264.png Dual Dagger Mastery: Learnable by Spectral Dancer and Sword Muse at level 40.

Every bard now has a set of "paired skills" — a symbiosis of a Dance + a Song. This removes the endless hunt for a missing bard and lets you bring another DD instead, while also adding variety and flexibility in combat:

World Trade

World Trade is a functional system that opens up new ways to trade items and currency within a single server. Unlike traditional in-game item exchange, World Trade lets players freely buy and sell goods from anywhere in the world.

How does World Trade work?

To open the World Trade window, use the dedicated icon above your character's function panel.

Scryde.gif

Making a purchase

Making a purchase
  1. Open the World Trade window.

  2. Enter the item's name (multiple words separated by spaces are fine).

  3. Pick the right listing → set the quantity → confirm the purchase.

On a successful purchase, the item shows up in your inventory, and the seller receives a mail with the adena.

Before buying, make sure that:

  • your inventory weight is under 80%;

  • you have at least 3 free inventory slots.

scryde2.gif

Making a sale

Making a sale
  1. Open My Items → Register Item for Sale.

  2. Drag the item into the slot, set a price per unit and a quantity. Maximum number of listings — 15.

  3. Confirm the registration — a commission fee will be charged.

  4. The listing appears in the general list for 14 days.

If the item sells, the proceeds are sent to the character's mail and kept there for 14 days. If the mail isn't claimed within that time, the funds move to the character's warehouse.

My Listings (settlements)
  • This section shows only active listings.

  • You can cancel a listing here — it returns straight to your inventory.

  • Listings that expire by time are returned via mail.

Тоговля будет недоступна, если ваш персонаж:

  • Находится в Инстансе

  • Участвует в Олимпиаде

Updated Subclass System

There are no more restrictions on subclasses. Any character can take any subclass, including Warsmith and Overlord (Dark Elves can take Light-race subclasses and vice versa!). Tanks can take other tank subclasses. The only exception is the Kamael race — they can only take subclasses of their own race.

The process of obtaining subclass skills has been greatly simplified: every player reaching the 3rd profession now automatically receives all the books needed to certify the class. Every book is clickable and opens the skill-learning window straight away — no need to fly to the Ivory Tower.

Champions

Among regular monsters you'll run into champions — buffed versions in three tiers: Blue (tier 1), Red (tier 2), and Gold (tier 3). Each tier is noticeably more dangerous — and noticeably more profitable.

All champions now carry a full set of debuff resistances, so farming them takes real attention to debuff mechanics regardless of which tier spawns.

The Emperor is a unique top-rank monster, essentially a mini raid boss. Very strong, but very profitable, easy to spot by its golden beam. Lifespan — 5 minutes, always aggressive, and attacks everyone nearby.

Skills:

  • Reborn — infects all nearby monsters; infected monsters spawn 3 copies of themselves on death.

  • Power Curse — infects all nearby monsters, significantly boosting their stats and Drop/Exp/Spoil rates.

  • Reproduction — spawns 1 to 4 copies of every creature nearby; the copies aren't champions.

  • Sacrifice — forces every monster within a 2000-range radius to attack a chosen character.

  • Champions Fall — turns every monster nearby into a Blue Champion for 5 minutes.

Instances

  • Abyss Labyrinth — entry used to be tied to specific days of the week; now, similar to Kamaloka's Hall of the Abyss, it's available once a day. Guaranteed boss drops have been removed.

  • Freya and Blessed Freya — share a common cooldown: entering one puts both on cooldown. M. Def. raised to 320, all skill radii increased to 3000, skills hit characters on both the 1st and 2nd floor of the instance, and a player who's been dead for 15 seconds is automatically teleported outside.

  • Hall of Illusions — clearing it no longer consumes Dimension Fragments.

Chests

The old, familiar chests that opened with a Maestro's Key have been replaced with upgraded Treasure Chests. They no longer need a key, are clearly split by Grade, and come with a completely refreshed reward pool.

X5 turns on chest respawns for every grade at once — from regular C-Grade all the way up to top-tier S84. Chests are placed at classic farming locations and respawn randomly, one per spot.

Divisions

Short version: divisions are how you get epic jewelry on Scryde. Clans are sorted into divisions by strength — top clans fight top clans, mid-tier clans fight mid-tier clans, and even a small clan gets its own content instead of just watching from the sidelines at a boss's lair.

The main difference from the classic epic-boss hunt: the reward doesn't only go to whoever lands the final blow. Clans earn essences for participating — a currency you spend in the Division shop. The system tracks each clan's contribution to the fight (PvP and damage to the boss), and inside a clan the essences are distributed among players automatically, based on class, Gear Score, damage dealt, and PvP participation.

How it works on X5. At launch, only Big War is open — a division where every clan starts in the same pool. Mid War and Low War will join later, once the server's first sides have formed and the real balance of power becomes clear.

Division

Limit

Big War

99 players — 11 full parties

Mid War

72 players — 8 full parties

Low War

36 players — 4 full parties

Divisions are isolated zones — you can't enter beyond the limit.

Rewards. In Big War, clans earn essences plus the boss's main drop for taking part in the kill. If a clan claims the drop, the matching share of essences is deducted from the shared pool — the winner doesn't get both the full drop and the maximum shop reward at once. You'll have to choose.

One type of essence goes toward epic jewelry, the other toward gear and consumables.

Sieges, Castles, and Territory Wars

A siege is the server's main clan event: once a week, clans storm the castles, and the winner gets not just stat bonuses but also territorial taxes and a share of the global treasury — more on that below.

Every siege participant automatically receives Mercenary quests:

Quest

Condition

Reward

Battlefield

Kill 10 unique characters in the siege zone of any castle

24 Territory Badge

Brutal Battlefield

Kill 20 unique characters in the siege zone of any castle

24 Territory Badge

Registering for a siege signs your clan up for every castle at once — you can switch targets mid-siege, starting at one gate and finishing at another.

A castle's flag grants stat bonuses and is locked to its own castle — you can't steal and carry off someone else's flag:

Sieges come with their own set of reworked skills: two upgrade tiers for Build Headquarters, and the Summon Swoon Cannon siege weapon, tuned to the server's stats.

Olympiad

A world record for arenas on Scryde.

Ranked Olympiad runs two days a week — Friday and Saturday. Classic matches have a pool of 70 fights per period.

At the start, characters are split into three brackets by point total:

Bracket

Points

First

0–45

Second

46–149

Third

150+

This way, characters with very different point totals face off against each other less often, and the competition within each bracket gets tighter.

Olympiad winners get Hero status. The hero weapon is an equivalent of Vesper +8.

Places 1 through 10 come with extra rewards in the form of runes. Olympiad cloaks are still around too, just without extra stat bonuses.

  • Class-based matches are disabled.

  • The /olympiadstat command (or its short form, /o) no longer needs a target and only shows your own character's stats. After a match ends, the opponent's point total is no longer shown.

  • HWID verification runs at registration. If a character from the same device is already registered or already on the arena, a second one from that device can't register.

  • Kamael can use any hero weapon, not just the ancient ones.

  • Enchant cap in the Olympiad: +6/+6/+6.

Grand Olympiad Event

The Grand Olympiad Event is an incredibly simple but genuinely fun event where you can earn Gold Coins.

Schedule — Saturdays, 19:00–19:45 (GMT+3).

How to earn Gold Coins?

Once the event starts, winning at the Grand Olympiad Stadiums earns you an Olympiad Winner's Gift. Opening it gives you a 30% chance at a Hero's Certificate, which you can then trade in for Gold Coins.

The event runs for 45 minutes. Players who break the project's rules, or who have broken them seriously before, may be removed from the event.
